KOM Services during COVID-19

Starting in February, 2022, KOM’s office will be open for indoor in-person services for fully-vaccinated individuals.

We are currently in Phase Three of our reopening plan, beginning on February 1, 2022. Read below for more info about Phase Three.

Phase Three

Beginning Tuesday, February 1, 2022, phase three of our return to work will begin. Some of our current policies will remain in effect, and some new services will be introduced.

What is new?

KOM’s office will be open for indoor in-person services for fully-vaccinated individuals. Clients can make appointments Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Walk-in clients can come to the office without an appointment Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am – 11:30am and 1:00pm – 4:30pm.

Here is what you need to know when visiting the KOM office:

  • Please call our front desk when you arrive in the parking lot for a health screening before entering the office.
  • Make sure to have your COVID-19 vaccination card with you. If you lost your card, our staff may be able to help you look up your vaccination record.
  • Wear a face mask when you enter the KOM building.
  • Please come by yourself to the KOM office. Anyone who comes with you should wait in the car.
  • We prefer that children stay at home, but if it’s not possible, children are permitted to come with you. They must be able to wear a mask, keep a 6 foot distance from others, and follow your instructions.

What is the same?

Until we can return to full normalcy, KOM’s safety measures will remain in place.

Clients may continue to receive curbside services with or without an appointment, and our on-call schedule remains in place. Our main office will be staffed at half-capacity on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Staff who are not scheduled to be in the office on a given day will work from home.

  • If you are not fully vaccinated, you may be able to receive Curbside Services.
  • If you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19, you may be able to receive On-Call Services.
Curbside Services

If you are not fully-vaccinated, you can still get services in-person in KOM’s parking lot.

  1. Please call KOM’s front desk at 651-788-7593 when you arrive in the parking lot.
  2. Staff will conduct a health screening with you over the phone.
  3. Wait in your car while staff come to collect your documents.
  4. Staff will bring your documents back into the office, and then return them to you after completing necessary tasks.
  5. If there are any questions, staff will call you on the phone.

On-Call Schedule

If you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19, you can still receive services over the phone.

We have set up an on-call schedule for people to call in with any questions or service needs between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

All callers with immediate needs should call our main office line at 651-788-7593. They will then be connected with an available on-call staff. If we are busy with other calls at that moment and can’t answer your call, please make sure to leave a message with your name and phone number so our staff can call you back.

As the situation evolves, we will continue to adhere to the best practices possible to ensure safety of all our staff and clients.

We can’t wait to see you all again!
