Khin was born in a refugee camp in Thailand and moved to the United States about 12 years ago. She graduated from Roseville Area High School in 2013 and has worked in schools and as an interpreter. She worked at Hope Community Academy for two years as a paraprofessional, and worked with a company called One-On-One doing home visits and providing interpretation for nurses with Karen families. Khin joined KOM in 2022 as a part-time Family Assister, which aligns with her goals of helping people. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, going on bike rides, and spending time with her daughter.
