KOM offers free forklift and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) classes in partnership with Roseville Adult Learning Center and Saint Paul College. The class is designed to prepare individuals for warehouse and transportation careers. Participants will earn a forklift license and be prepared for the CDL Class A permit test. Qualifying students can continue onto Saint Paul College to earn a CDL Class A license.
In addition to learning skills for that specific career, participants will be partnered with a KOM employment counselor and financial coach to help them reach their employment and financial goals. In employment counseling, they’ll receive resume/application assistance, help with job search, and interview practice. Participants may be eligible for a stipend of up to $2500 per person for attending class and completing additional learning activities.
Participants are welcome to start anytime on a rolling basis!
