Lisa was born and raised in Oregon and Colorado before moving to Minnesota to study at Concordia University. She graduated in 2014 with a degree in K-12 ESL Education and minor in Spanish.

Before her current position, she worked as an Employment Navigator at KOM through the Minnesota Opportunity Corps, and later as the coordinator for KOM’s interpreter training program. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods and restaurants around the Twin Cities.
