Dan joined KOM as a Master of Social Work Intern in September, 2020.
Dan is currently a Master of Social Work student at the University of St. Thomas. He also works for Hennepin County where he completes eligibility assessments with people with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges who are receiving long-term services. Dan graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 2011 with a BA in psychology and has been working mostly in the intellectual disabilities field since then as a residential program manager and later as a case manager. Dan said that he is very excited to be a part of KOM. He is looking forward to learning about Karen culture and the refugee experience while contributing to the important work that KOM does in the community.
Dan grew up in Plymouth, MN and now lives in Richfield with his wife, young son and their dog, Marty.
