Employment Services

The Karen Organization of Minnesota (“KOM”) is dedicated to finding employment opportunities for the Karen and Burmese refugees. KOM knows that in order for families to be self sufficient, steady employment is a necessity. KOM assists the Karen and Burmese refugees by providing job training, employment counseling and enrollment in English classes. Learn more

Social Services

One of the primary goals of KOM is to provide social services to meet the needs of the Karen and Burmese refugee community. KOM is actively seeking grants and donations to offer more services and to enhance those already provided. Currently, KOM is in partnership with World Relief Minnesota to provide social services to the Karen and Burmese refugee community in Minnesota. Learn more
