Gala

Every year, KOM holds an annual gala to celebrate the success of KOM and the people we serve. The gala is open to all supporters of KOM and features a social hour, program, dinner, photo booth, and more. It is a wonderful time for longtime partners, donors, volunteers, and new friends to come together and recognize the continuous growth of KOM and the Karen community in Minnesota. Proceeds from the gala support KOM’s programs that help refugees from Burma settle, integrate, and become self-sufficient in their new home. We hope you will join us this year and bring your friends to this special occasion!

This year, we are hosting our 2025 KOM Gala on Thursday, November 6th at the Inwood Oaks Event Center in Oakdale, MN. Our theme this year is “Rooted and Rising.” All donations will help support refugees and immigrants in Minnesota. Visit our event page for more info!
