Hsajune Dyan

Hsajune Dyan was born in Burma and lived in a refugee camp for 8 years. Upon leaving the refugee camp, he and his family wandered in Thailand for a few years before coming to the U.S. in 2001. Hsajune graduated from Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) in 2004. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from UW-River Falls in 2008, graduate degree in Public and Non-Profit Administration from Metropolitan State University in 2015 and K-12 principal licensure from Bethel University in 2019. He was also named a Bush Fellow in 2017. Hsajune currently works as an Assistant Principal at Washington Technology Magnet School.

Hsajune was part of KOM’s Board of Directors from 2012 until 2018, and rejoined the board in December of 2021.
